With that look on your face....

I can gauge how stressed I am when I walk into a store or browse shops online; the more stressed I am, the more stuff I buy, the more stuff I buy, the more stressed I get.

Today's damage? I bought a set of greenish envelopes on discount at OfficeMax (Damn you, Jacques. Seriously. I mean that.) for 3$, and there was a cute notebook for .79 cents, and, of course, I had to get the Age of Mythology PC game for 9.99, and a set of Roseart coloured pencils for 99cents, (I'd been wanting coloured pencils for a while, really!) ..so a total of 15$ at Office Max.

I was even seriously considering buying a fireproof + waterproof safety deposit box for 99$. But I didn't, 'cause I wasn't strong enough to pick it up.

There was this cute lamp post in the parking lot there, that looked like a monster. And the OfficeMax building itself looks kind of like a lego set.

I was feeling pretty not-wanting-to-take pictures, but I forced myself to pull over before going to the gas station and go look around with camera in hand. The result, some pretty boring stuff.

I start my regularly scheduled program-er-working hours on the 15th. I will be SO VERY LESS UNHAPPY when I'm no longer working on the phone from 8-4:30.

And then when I got home, I discovered the The Broken Bandit, this animator/artist I know via Gaia Online, opened a Cafe Press, and I convinced myself that I had to have the Pirate Lass T-shirt for $23.95. Visit him at The Pirate Outpost, all four people who know about this blogthinger.

The film-producer dude got my rough draft for the skit on the live-action battle ad, and said he'd review it when he got a chance. We'll see.

Just a feeling.

I'm sort of lacking the photographic spirit today. So I just took routine pictures: Pike's Peak and my grandmother's house. The left half of the sky was cloudy, the right half all clear. Thus, Pike's Peak was cloudy, and the pic of my grandmother's house was all sunny, even though I took the pics within a minute of eachother.




I issued a free reprint on an order of checks for my automotive repair man, Bob. It was pretty neat to get a call from someone I knew (of,) since we take calls from all over the States.

And it's gone.

April Snows

Easter afternoon found me driving around and taking pictures of the snow. Colorado snow is much more elegant than New York snow, retaining its purity for much longer, and managing to be completely dreary-free.

Took over 85 pictures, but I really only like two or three.

The snow here clings to everything, as if the world's been dipped in fluffy white chocolate, but not nearly as tasty.

Thanks to Daddy for the awesome new (old) camera (that he left behind.) I should have kept the 2 gig card.

And here's the car in the Garden of the Gods, to prove to Daddy that I didn't wreck it (yet.) Oh, and I saw this curly tree and thought of Mom.

This one's my favorite-most of all, though.
